TODAY'S QUESTION/TOPIC:
What living author or authors would you like to have dinner with?
you know how the last supper scene looks?
keep that image in your head because that's pretty much what this dinner would look like.
Me, surrounded by all the author's I love.
Them, all admiring me! HA!!
Here is a list of author's I would love to have at my dinner table:
Mr. Clive Barker
Author of: The Abarat series, The Hellbound Heart, Book of Bloods, Imajica...
Barker is an author of fantasy and horror. Know more for his " darker fantasy "
Author of: Neverwhere, Coraline, The Graveyard Book, American Gods, The Ocean at the End of the Lane...
I would have Gaiman at dinner, at my wedding, at my child's baptism, reading my eulogy at my own funeral!
HAHA! I love this man, his words, his voice. I'd love to pick at his brain, literally, maybe then I could gain some of his knowlegde.
Brandon Sanderson, author of The Mistborn Series and The Stormlight Archives Series.
Scott Lynch, author of The Gentleman Bastards series, including Lies of Locke Lamora.
Patrick Rothfuss, author of The Kingkiller Chronicles, including The Name of the Wind.
Laini Taylor, author of the phenomenal Daughter of Smoke & Bone Trilogy and Melina Marchetta, author of the epic Lumatere Chronicles.
Both of these ladies have created some of my favorite series ever written.
Both stories are phenomenal and fantastic in their own unique way.
What a dinner party this would be!
Here are some parodies of "The Last Supper" that I thought were hilarious and just had to share:
Now, could someone pass the salt?
LET'S EAT!
♥ BIG hugs and Lots of LOVE ♥
