If you’re anything like me, you’ll know its very hard to choose your next read – particularly when you have a review/reading pile as big as your bed… or head.
With that thought in mind, What’s Next was born. What’s Next will be a weekly featured by IceyBooks, and you can participate!
Here’s how it works (for those of you who want to participate):
- Every Thursday select three-five books (not too many, not too little!) that you want to read but can’t decide which one to read first.
- Post the cover, and if you want, the synopsis or even a random line from the book, for each of your selections.
- At the end of your post, ask readers to vote on which one you should read next!
Even if you don’t end up reading your readers’ top choice, you’ll know
what the majority is excited for.

I know, I know!! I can't believe I'm just now getting around to reading this series. But hey.... it's better later than never, RIGHT!?! I'm really excited to read this one, I mean, Cyborgs and intergalactic battles!! C'mon Man! AWESOMENESS!!

Why this has taken me so long to read, I do not know! I'm kind of mad at myself too!!! When I first read about this book I was so freakin' excited to get my hands on it, then when I got it, it went right into my bookcase where it sits, unread til the very day :( I've just been lucky and reading a lot of good books lately that this one slipped further down my TBR list. Not any longer, SOON, very soon I will be reading this!

ReplyDeleteI'm waiting for the third book to release in Laini Taylor's trilogy so I won't have to wait. And then I'm going to read the entire trilogy, and I haven't read the Throne of Glass series yet, but I'm going to start soon.
But Cinder was awesome, as was Scarlet and Cress. I can't wait for Winter. Hope you enjoy your pick!

I haven't read any of these yet, but they're all ones I want to read right now! LOL! It's a tossup between Cinder and Blood & Starlight. I'm going with Cinder since I'm sure you'd finish Blood & Starlight way before April 8th. :)

No. Way. You have like 3 of my favorite books of all time here!! Like, ever in life! Like you, I was sort of late getting into Throne of Glass and Cinder. I adored Throne of Glass like I can't even begin to tell you...and the series gets BETTER as you go so beware haha! Seriously though, the ToG books are among my absolute favorite reads ♥ Cinder was great too, easy to read, different and a bit lighter than your other too choices in terms of how involved one becomes when reading (but only a bit) And of the feels are coming just looking at the cover for Days of Blood & Starlight! It is SO flipping epic! And YES Dreams of Gods & Monsters is soon :D Anyway yeah, you NEED to read all of these books. Today ideally LOL
ReplyDeleteI knew when I read the synopsis for Throne of Glass that I was gonna love it. I mean it seems to have everything I love in a Fantasy book. Hopefully I enjoy it as much as I think I will! lol I really wish I had the super power to read multiple books at the same time! I'd read all three of them ;)

The only one I read was Cinder and I ADORED it, so I would like to say read it, but then I see you have a SECOND book in a series here (Days of Blood and Stralight) and my personal code says It's better to finish/advance in a series before starting a new one...

Cinder!!!! Do it!!!! Lol Cinder was really good. What I like the most out of the series is that as new characters are being introduced the books keep getting better then the last.
