Top Ten Tuesday: Favorite Fantasy Books

Top Ten Favorite Books in (x) genre? I chose FANTASY (of coarse)

This Top Ten Tuesday was extra hard for me. To pick upon my favorite genre, GEESH, that's like me choosing which one of my kids is my favorite. But we all know.....there is a favorite! JUST KIDDING
So I chose my top ten fantasy books by, which ever one popped in my head next, as I was going down the list! LOL! It worked, all of these books are my favorites :)

  3. I JUST picked up Barker's The Thief of Always last weekend at a used bookstore since my library doesn't have it. And, I've added a few of your favorites to my TBR! Thanks for sharing and great list! Also, thanks for stopping by our Top Ten!

  5. Hey! First off, thanks for stopping by! I agree, The Lumatere's are awesome. I haven't read Quintana yet, because I didn't want it to be over. And I think it's going to be the best of the lot. But when it come out in PB in May I will devour it. :)
    I also enjoyed Falling Kingdoms and Daughter of Smoke and Bone. Great worlds! Of course The Hobbit.
    But said to say, I haven't read a lot of others on your list. I've had The Book of Lost Things on my TBR forever. But it's not made it into my hands...yet.

  6. Only I can forget The Hobbit / LOTR and Harry Potter. That's how amazing I am. I'm so happy to see Melina's series as your first pick, that one is my fave as well. I need to read Falling Kingdoms soon! I have it on my to-read it and I just need to pick it up. Great list, Michelle :)

  7. Book Hangovers just keeps on getting nicer each time I pop over, I love the new signature! I plan on finally getting started on Falling Kingdoms after I get a few more of my NetGalley books read. And I promise to read some Neil Gaimen, most likely this summer. I was thinking Stardust, have you read it?

    1. Yes girl! It's sweet, kind of fairy-tale-ish! They actually made it into a movie starring Claire Danes. It was cute. Definitely read Falling Kingdoms, I can't wait to read the sequel, Rebel Springs, I have no idea what I'm waiting for. It's sitting in my bookcase. Lol!!

  9. Big yays for this list I love it! I've heard of quite a few of these but not read a single one, I'm so disappointed in myself! I am adding so many to the TBR pile because of this list, 'The Orphan and the Thief' looks great! Also I've never heard of 'The Book Of Lost Things' so thank you for drawing that one to my attention! :) Awesome picks!

  11. I really need to read Daughter of Smoke and Bone. Seriously. Why haven't I even borrowed it from the library yet??! Isn't the 3rd one coming out soon (or just came out?). But YES to Finnikin. I want to finish them! I loooved the first one.

    1. GIRL!!! If you loved Finnikin you will FREAK OUT with the rest of them. I'm telling you, each book is better than the last! Top 5 favorite books/series! BANANAS over them!!
      And don't feel bad about Daughter of Smoke and Bone. I just read the first book last month and haven't even read the 2nd one yet. I'm trying to wait til it's closer to book 3's release date so that the story is still fresh. I better do it soon b/c it comes out April 17th (i believe)

  13. I'm super tired so I'm going to try and keep this short, but I LOVE this list!! 1. Abarat. That's all a list needs for me to get happy haha. (I haven't read Cabal yet, I need to!) Unsurprisingly 2. So does Neil Gaiman. 3. I just read Daughter of Smoke and Bone last week and ohmygod new biggest love ever!

  14. I've had Finnikin of the Rock on my TBR FOREVER and haven't read it yet, because apparently I'm an idiot--this is the third list I've seen the Lumatere Chronicles on! It seems as though I really am missing out . . . AND I have the first two books in Laini Taylor's series, I just haven't read them (again, because I must be an idiot:p)
