Waiting on Wednesday: Noggin by John Corey Whaley

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly bookish meme,
hosted by Breaking the Spine,
that showcase upcoming releases that we are eagerly anticipating.

Today's Book:

Listen — Travis Coates was alive once and then he wasn’t.
Now he’s alive again.
Simple as that.

The in between part is still a little fuzzy, but he can tell you that, at some point or another, his head got chopped off and shoved into a freezer in Denver, Colorado. Five years later, it was reattached to some other guy’s body, and well, here he is. Despite all logic, he’s still 16 and everything and everyone around him has changed. That includes his bedroom, his parents, his best friend, and his girlfriend. Or maybe she’s not his girlfriend anymore? That’s a bit fuzzy too.
Looks like if the new Travis and the old Travis are ever going to find a way to exist together, then there are going to be a few more scars.

Oh well, you only live twice.

Lately I've been reading a lot of Fantasy books. YA, Urban, Historical, ect... So I figured I need to venture beyond my comfort zone and read something different. Well this is different alright, hahahaaa!!!

It sounds like it's going to be a bit odd and a tad weird with just enough touch of gore. Three things I enjoy reading about.
Oh yea, I'm definitely intrigued!!!

Good thing I don't have that long of a wait for this one. April 8th is practically around the corner.

Expected Publication: April 8th, 2014
Publisher: Atheneum Books for Young Readers

Hopefully this got you guys interested in something new.
Go ahead and get those TBR lists out and add Noggin to it :)
I have my list ready to go.....

    1. Someone actually recommended it to me. They read the ARC and knew that I like Chuck Palahniuk. I hoping it's as good as the reviews are saying. All I see are 5 stars.
