Waiting on Wednesday: Sea of Shadows

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly bookish meme,
hosted by Breaking the Spine,
that showcase upcoming releases that we are eagerly anticipating.

Today's Book:

Expected Publication: April 8th, 2014

In the Forest of the Dead, where the empire’s worst criminals are exiled, twin sisters Moria and Ashyn are charged with a dangerous task. For they are the Keeper and the Seeker, and each year they must quiet the enraged souls of the damned. Only this year, the souls will not be quieted.

Ambushed and separated by an ancient evil, the sisters’ journey to find each other sends them far from the only home they’ve ever known. Accompanied by a stubborn imperial guard and a dashing condemned thief, the girls cross a once-empty wasteland, now filled with reawakened monsters of legend, as they travel to warn the emperor. But a terrible secret awaits them at court—one that will alter the balance of their world forever.

This sounds like a High Fantasy that's dark and eerie and something right up my alley!!! I'm super excited to get my hands on this book. I'm not even sure if this is the final cover they chose for the book. This one is pretty kick ass...so hopefully if they change it, the next one will be just as good or better. I mean what can be better than kick ass.....

Hopefully some of y'all are anticipating this ones release. If you haven't heard of it before, I hope by sharing it, you'll be intrigued and add it to your TBR list ;)
Can't wait to see what y'alls W.o.W's are today....
Til Then......
HAPPY READING Y'ALL!!!
xoxo

  1. I think Kelley Armstrong is supposed to be at the author event I might be moderating in May. So I guess maybe I should read one of her books? They always sound good, I just never get around to them. Great pick!
    Check out my WOW.

  3. I haven't read any of this authors books before but it sounds good so thanks for sharing :-D Sorry about the lack of commenting Michelle :-( my hubby broke his hand and we've been in and out of the hospital, he finally goes for surgery on Friday. So I've been a busy girl with him and the kids.... I soooo tired! I'm the kind of person that write posts in advance so that's why I've still been posting on the blog. Hopefully he's better soon or there may be some silence on my page :/.
